His Route:

- Friends with Hiyoko since he were barely hatched.
- He can be a little mischievous, but he's responsible and kind.
- Can cook, offers to make Hiyoko breakfast on occasion.

- Sophomore
- Has a weak stomach
- Can't swim
- Shares his lunch with Hiyoko
- Stops Okosan from going on rampages
- His Tanabata wish is for his mother to stay healthy and for his stomach to get better.
- Stomach problems happen frequently
- Sitting around makes it worse
- Shuu gives him medicine
- Repeats words ("Yup yup, okay okay, etc.)
- Hiyoko saves him from freezing when he hatched and fell from his mom's nest
- "Not the healthiest bird around."
- Loves Hiyoko's kindness and monkey tree-climbing genes
- Hard worker
- Works at a transvestite cafe. Doesn't really mind this.
- Needs money so he works extra jobs
- All of them involve cross dressing
- Goes by "Coolene" while working
- Grateful when Hiyoko gives up her summer job for him
- Likes calm corn for Legumentine's Day
- Is really happy when Hiyoko thinks of him
- Goes into denial when someone he loves dies
- Doesn't want to rely on others, it makes him feel irresponsible
- Accepts that he has a shorter lifespan
- "I'm glad I was born, if only because I got to be with you. It's like a miracle."
- Body is replaced with birdie

Hurtful Route:

- Is usually on time, but sometimes slow.
- Doesn't want "Hiyoko" in the room alone.
- In denial about her death
- Agrees to be Sakuya's assistant
- Doesn't trust Shuu
- Suspects him of killing Hiyoko
- Wants revenge on whoever did it. Explains how he's never felt like that before.
- Grateful for Yuuya giving him advice on the situation
- Thinks One is really cool
- Apologizes for Sakuya
- Worried about his mom, despite being in this situation
- Visibly upset when Shuu calls Hiyoko "chunks of meat"
- Can't just sit around, while Hiyoko's murderer is on the loose
- Isn't patient with Shuu
- Tells Sakuya to let it go when Yuuya's activities pop up
- Worries about Sakuya, when they get separated by the scarecrow
- Despite Sakuya insulting him when reunited, he's still happy to see him
- Kind of oblivious. "X-Rated videos can teach someone how to do this sort of thing? Maybe I should watch more of them."
- Is good at blaming himself
- Doesn't give up
- Doesn't know about the Dove Party
- Thought everyone got along and that humans weren't still being killed off/the war was over
- Enrolled in the academy in 2187
- Glad Sakuya is around
- "You are a promising lad."
- Has weak nerves, according to Sakuya
- His title from Anghel is "Textoris Melodia Funeris"
- "You're really frank, Ryouta."
- Only child, but understands the feeling of having a sibling
- If he was in the same situation as Sakuya, with a sibling being accused of murder, he wouldn't be as calm
- Tries to reassure Sakuya when he's down
- Knows when people need to be alone
- Doesn't seem to understand Anghel, when Kazuaki does
- Questions himself about if he would be able to do the same thing as Nageki
- Nothing Shuu says will ever change his opinion of him
- Catches on quickly
- When he was younger, he wished for a world where humans and birds no longer fight. Even if it meant his death
- "He would never harm a human!"
- Can only remember his father's voice and color of his wings
- Was always left alone with his mother
- "A world without strife, where no one will have a loved one stolen from them... that is the world I wish for."
- Sympathizes with Shuu at the end
- Thinks Shuu should have a fair trial, despite what he did
- Decides to stay behind in the facility
- Asks Sakuya to tell his mom not to worry
- Promises to leave the facility alive

Epilogue:

- Rescued from the facility at the epilogue, and the Charon Virus is suppressed
