[ And then Blue teased Red some more and they ate and it was all good. Red got to find out that Blue's team has an espeon named Eifie, a gengar named Violet and a ditto (that didn't introduce itself as a ditto in the match) called Puce. Good times.

And then yadda yadda yadda it's Valentine's Day. Boxes of chocolates were plentiful around the village with a different selection in each one. Houses got a much larger box, while the apartments or other dwellings got a more humbler selection. Details that don't actually matter and may be changed.

Either way Blue didn't know about any of it. She wasn't in the village when the mischievous treats were left around, having left a couple of days ago to do the climb with her team to the hot springs for some outdoor exercise. Going to the hot springs was never always an objective, but she was easy enough to contact by journal to find out where she was.

And for this Blue was at the hot springs again, wearing also again another swimsuit in the case of the company of others. There was a small barbecue being watched by a ditto!Blue for the skewers that were on it, and Eifie was away enjoying the sun in a nicer part. And Violet? Who knew with Violet.

Red meanwhile, was wandering around the village before he showed up. It wasn't a surprise that Red would pick up chocolates for someone he's been spending a lot of time with, especially with Blue.

However, Red not knowing about what these chocolate actually did, well... they're in for quite the surprise.

Red shows up not too much later, chocolates and bag in hand as he explores the room again.]

Oh, hey Blue! Thought you'd be up here.

[How does he do this. Uh...]

Here. I picked up some chocolate!

[Just hand it over, right?!]

But right, that's how you do it!! Blue wasn't in the water at the time so that makes it easier to hand over. The box gets a curious look, but she takes it and turns it this way and that. Pleasantly surprised! ]

But uh. He doesn't really make eye contact! He just looks away while she looks over the box, thinking.]

It's Valentine's Day, right? So givin' out chocolate is what you do.

A-Anyway, I'm gonna go get changed and hop in too, okay? Don't eat all of 'em while I'm gone.

[ wow, silly boy...!! Good thing Red doesn't have a twitter to be embarrassing on. ]

I won't! [ He can have that promised before he leaves! She sets the box onto the picnic blanket she has set out near to her ditto, opening up the box to see if there's a sheet inside for flavours, buuut nope - well they must just be plain chocolate! No biggy, whatever.

She'll yoink one for herself right then since why not, and take a couple out to leave on the lid for whenever Red gets back. Just gonna pop that in her mouth and suck on it slowly, chatting to her ditto for a moment before deciding to get into the hot spring. heyyyooo. ]

[omfg shut up!!

AAAAAAAAAANYWAY, it doesn't take Red to return with his swimming trunks as well, his now fairly worn-out sandals from plenty of trips up here, and a towel.

But she didn't eat them all at least! He still laughs at the amount that was left out, before moving over to get into the hot springs himself, commenting on that.]

At least you didn't get all of 'em.

[ wait, wait wait. Let her just chew and swallow this chocolate. ]

I only had one, thank you! [ She's got her arms folded at the edge, feet going in and out from the water. ] I left some out for you too.

Yeah, I saw! I'll probably grab some of 'em in a bit, but I'm just gonna relax for now.

Gee, you bring me chocolates for Valentine's and then tease me for eating one? Shouldn't you be flirting with me instead? That's what you do on Valentine's.
