[ Nothing about the shift testing had shown itself in the morning Red came back, nor through to the afternoon. There were no extra limbs, no changed skin, no change of personality that Red could notice (and nothing that had been said to him either).

There was nothing wrong either with how much more energy he seemed to have around dinnertime, and how that didn't leave after one hour, two hours, three hours...

Other people might've been heading to bed, but this Red? No no no no no. And oh, other Red! Did you jusr walk in? Were you planning to sleep? Hope you weren't! ]

Hey, Red! What're you doing? You're not going to bed yet are you? [ It's only ten PM! ]

[Red on the other hand... he was training most of the day away. He had to get his Pokemon back up to their normal strength, after all! So when the younger Red decided to run up to him, he stared for a moment, before laughing rubbing the back of his head.]

Well... I was thinking about laying around at least, but I wasn't sure about sleeping yet.

[ Red, were you trying for the impossible?! But it's okay training is cool, yet surely you must still feel at 100%-- no, 350% energy right now! ]

Well- everyone else decided to go to bed, but it's way too early, don't you think? I feel like doing something more before even thinking about ending the night!

[ The night is too young! Much younger than him!! ]

How about it? I don't know what I wanna do - but let's burn off all this energy before bed!

Well it's not that surprising... I mean, it's already ten!

[It's like the same age as him sheesh!]

But we could go to the battle dome and make up simulations -- oh, a friend of mine showed me this place with all these ruins once, and I made rattata and pidgey appear there! I could show you that! Orr... you could show me a place you really like! Or we could go for a walk? Or we could go in the mountains?

You know, I feel like we could do anything!

... Those are pretty extreme for this late in the night, don't you think?

[RED... Red honey, no...]

Maybe the ruins? But I know I just came from the battle dome.

[ Nnnnnooo he doesn't think so?!!?!? ]

Well I mean... s'pretty late, so it wasn't full or anything, no...

You sure? Some people like to do that. You get people really early in the morning too. Eight rooms isn't enough!

[ -- WAIT HE'S GETTING DISTRACTED. He's heading for the door and opening it. ]

But let's check it out! We won't find out if we keep standing here!

[ OUT OUT OUT THEY GO. And look how dark it is! Apparently the stars in the sky aren't correct, but it's hard to tell if you're not a sky gazer familiar with constellations an all that starry stuff. Street lights are on too, some here and there to help them keep on the path. Whatever, are you tired, Red? This little Red isn't! ]

So what kinda simulation did you do? A pokémon one? A friend showed me how to bring up hell monsters from her world if you're ever interested in new opponents. One of them's a large guy with a bunch of festival lamps on its back.

[Only slightly. He can keep trucking, thankfully... but man. He just got back from doing this, okay!]

Just a pokemon one, yeah. I don't really know what else to pull up. [Except now he might.]

Sounds pretty intense, but I'm always up for a challenge!

[ you're such an old person!! ]

It is. You should go through and just pick a bunch of stuff at random! There's these ones I found.. they're like golems, kinda? Or golems if you mixed them with machokes and didn't give them a face. They're totally stone and they throw their body all around! And you know what? A pikachu can actually fight them with electricity! Oh, and then there's these huge blue guys wearing weird armour too...

There's a really lot of cool stuff you can find if you look through the computer!

[ Blue was sure she'd heard of speed dating from somewhere once in her life, but it was never anything she'd ventured in. Out on the road, she'd had an outing now and then with individuals that, well - admittedly they had tried to swoon her, and she them in turn, but pass a kiss here and there, it never went anywhere.

And they had never really been dates. ...Maybe.

Certainly not the kind of date that involved sitting at a table with a clock to tick down the minutes into seconds. But throwing any uncertainness to the wind (no, none existed), Blue found herself quickly having fun with the event. It was fun so far, getting to stop and talk to different kinds of people. Luceti was so fascinating already, and having an excuse to peek into that window of so many different lives was exciting.

So it's with ease that she sits at the next table, smile warm on her face that reaches her brown eyes, and her sea blue wings behind her rest open with a sense of comfort. Her fingers easily curl together as she asks in a teasing tone: ]

Hi. Think I'm the kind of girl you're looking for today?

Blue?

[Well, he got the name right, at least. She even seemed to act the same. He wasn't sure when she got here, but it's good to see her at least! Even if it did seem... a little off.

Maybe it was a similar case with him and the other Red? Of two people with the same name, but different still. He paused to think about it for a bit, his hand on his chin. He couldn't be too sure.]

... I think.

[But he just laughs again! It doesn't matter too much. The question is what he's really confused about.]

Honestly... I'm not sure who I'm looking for! This just sounded like fun.

[globetrotting]

That's what I thought too. [ She leans up to the table, removing her hands from the table and resting her arms instead against the side, still threading her fingers side by side but tilted, so her face - and his for her - can be seen. ]

But, soo - you might have a preference for blue, hmm? What kind of blue? Blue hair? Blue-skinned girls? I think I've seen some ladies like that around, actually.

N-Nothing like that...

[Blue hair isn't bad, but blue-skinned just seems kind of weird... anyway, he was just talking about--]

I meant it as a name. Me n'my friends have some pretty weird ones, I guess.

[globetrotting]

So I remind you of someone? [ She peers at him curiously, tapping the tips of her feet lightly on the floor. ] A good reminder?

Well... yeah! She's one of my best friends back home. I dunno where I'd be without her.

[globetrotting]

Really? Why don't you tell me about the two of you, then! It sounds like it'd be a good listen.

The two of us? Uh... dunno! I mean, we're just kinda trainers.

[globetrotting]

Just kinda being trainers is fine. How long have the two of you known each other?

Let's see... I think it's been around six years?

[Wait, really?]

Wow... I didn't realize it's actually been that long.

Time really flies, huh? [ Haha. ] Have you been a trainer that whole time?
