Hmm, why don't you see if you'll quit before getting to the other side of the mountain, huh? Think you can make it?

Of course I can! I'm no quitter.

[He's shocked, appalled... like he would just give up!]

Even if it'll take you two weeks straight to do it?

'Course! I'm always up for a challenge.

Then I can't change your mind now, can I? [ Know what? Time to stop floating! Putting an arm around Pika and shifting him up (onto the Promised Land), Blue tips her legs into the water and makes her way to the edge. ]

Ahh, these things are soaked! [ And unfortunately, rolling your shoulders does not help dry up wings. Sooo worth it though. ]

Not at all.

[Well Pika can't complain. While the floating was nice, this was much better. And, well...]

You still want me to dry 'em off?

Hmm...

[ The moment it takes to think about isn't because of you, Red. Blue's just trying to think of what to do right now about them! Hm hm hm. ]

Do you think you could press them first? Just between your hands to drain out the water. It should be okay as long as you're careful.

Yeah, sure. I could try it.

[He's not sure how to press water out of wings, but he does come on over, to sit up out of the water behind her.]

Er, should I just start whenever?

[ Let her set Pika down onto the ground - sorry, good bye! - so she can rest her arms there too. ]

Alright, try it now. I'm trusting you!

Yeah, of course! You can trust me.

[His hands move out to hold the wings, his hands lightly pressing into the feathers, squeezing them to drain some of the water out.]

[ The wings twitch, as do the woman's shoulders, at the handling, uncertain how to begin registering the pressure being applied to them. It's fine, but only a little, and Blue wiggles her upper body again when Red squeezes. It may be gentle, but...

Softer-spoken: ] Lay your hands flat on each side and press them that way.

[ Wings are very sensitive, Red! ]

Oh, uh... alright.

[He does so! His hands press against each side, pressing into them gently again.]

[ That's much better. The wings are like hair or fur, water absorbing into them and clinging and weighing them down easy. Squeezing had taken out some of the moisture before, but so did this way, and it wasn't putting any strain onto the feathers; they were delicate things, after all. ]

Like that. [ She says, so keep continuing like that! Though a little through it she does pause him briefly, just so she can bring her body closer up to the rocky edge and lay her head down to rest on top of her arms. If she's going to stand there having a cute boy touch up her wing, then she might as well be as relaxed as possible! ]

[May as well, yeah! He continues to work, moving along the wing to squeeze the water out of each spot, concentrating on not being too rough with them.]

[ There's something ticklish about it without the laughter, a warmness beyond the heat of the hot springs. Blue's somewhat used to it though from the helping hands of her team mates after a wash to get the feathers to dry out more quickly.

But Red wasn't a team mate, so it didn't compare completely to that. It was a nice feeling all the same, and she could lay and relax without too much fidgeting from herself. At times she sighed behind her mouth, eyes closed as Red's hands touched at her.

The problem arose when he came to the centre of her back between the wings, whether brushing it incidentally with his arm or hand, or even getting to the upper parts of them. Her back arched into it, and the sighs were more audible, small little moans. She touches her face to push away hair that isn't there, fingers curling afterwards beside her chin and the tip of her tongue licks over lips that aren't as dry as they seem, and she tries to keep control of the weight going down into her stomach and down into her thighs.

It shouldn't be such a problem, as long as Red doesn't spend too much time around the area. ]

You doing okay?

[He caught onto those sighs, when her back arched... he wasn't sure why that was happening. It, well... it felt weird for him too, honestly. Not that he would bring any attention to it.]

[ Towards him she looks, pondering how to explain it for a moment before there - there was that chuckle of a laugh. ]

It's fine. ...I'm not weirding you out, am I? [ Her wings flutter for a second, more freer than they were before. ] It's just really nice at the top.

[ She didn't want him to stop, but if she was... ]

Oh, no! I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong.

[So he'll get back to work then. Maybe putting a bit more focus onto the top, since she said it felt nice... his hands continue to press and brush over the skin and feathers, not knowing what kind of effect this was actually having on her.]

[ The point wasn't to feel up at the top, it was meat to be drying out her wings...!!!

At the upper area the added press in his hands don't matter so much; they're more comforting than they had been before at the feathers along the bottom, and if he doesn't give enough for her Blue's sure to tell him ] Just a bit more, there - just squeeze a little.

[ Because along the soft flesh it's fine, and it's even more so the closer inward it gets. But if he really does follow her instructions and he presses his fingers in near to the spine where the wings come out, then it's a little too much; and the moan she gives is a big indication of that, her lips pinching together and her toes curling inward at the rush it sends down her body. ]

-- no more. [ There's a breathlessness in her voice, and she doesn't look this time over to Red. ] Can you let me get out?

[Of course he listens! He was sure to follow her instructions, and well... it's probably a good thing to stop. Considering that moan got a reaction out of him that he wasn't expecting.

So he moves back, letting her move like she wanted. Oops.]

Y-Yeah, probably a good idea...

[ Good job embarrassing her further. Hearing the water behind her move - even with her ears burning - Blue gets out, mindful of where she kicks her feet. She briefly glimpses towards him, but her face is too hot for her to look any longer than that; she tries though to laugh, awkward but still in a way to brush off whatever atmosphere that might try to settle between them. ]

My wings can dry off now -- thanks for the help. [ She stands, eyeing around for her sandals, but puts a hand over her stomach and the other resting near to her shoulder in some subtle way of not exposing herself more than keeping her hands down beside would have her be. ] I'm going to get changed. I can start up dinner too if you're getting hungry.

Yeah, no problem. Happy to help.

[But he nods! He is pretty hungry, so.]

Sure! I'll just wait here for a bit longer, but I'll be out in a bit.

Okay. [ And she turns on her heel. ] Call before you come in.

[ Just in case! Time for her to go and... not be here right now!! ]

Don't worry, I will.

[YEAH. Yeah. Good idea, Blue. He'll just sink back into the water and wait around. Don't start fapping or something, Blue.]

[ Excuse you don't you mean 'Don't start fapping, Red'??? So rude.

Blue is going to do what she said and get changed out of her swimsuit and rub off (not that kind) before putting on some clothes and starting off that dinner! The dinner... is stew. ]
