Yeah, of course! You can trust me.

[His hands move out to hold the wings, his hands lightly pressing into the feathers, squeezing them to drain some of the water out.]

[ That's much better. The wings are like hair or fur, water absorbing into them and clinging and weighing them down easy. Squeezing had taken out some of the moisture before, but so did this way, and it wasn't putting any strain onto the feathers; they were delicate things, after all. ]
