Wellllll... it's not. It's the latest and greatest in electronics. All of 'em are like this lately.

Hell, Kalos even has holograms.

[ Red would be impressed by holograms if he hadn't reached the stage of 'the future is really silly'. Here, he's even going to hold out the dex back to Blue without even getting anywhere on it. ]

I'll stick with my pokédex, thanks. Kalos can stay weird with its ghost shields and holograms and no buttons.

Back in my day, we didn't use touch screens. We just had good old fashioned buttons.
